Aug 01, 2016 | Posted in News

Who: The Regional Cancer Center plans to host its 2nd annual “Death over Dinner" which is free and open to the Erie community. Bring your friends and family and be brave enough to start a conversation that matters.

What: This event stems from a national campaign called “Let’s Have Dinner and Talk about Death” which stresses the conversation that the entire country should be having with loved ones, as nearly 75% of Americans wish to die at home, while only 25% actually do. More information about this campaign can be found at http://deathoverdinner.org/

When: Wednesday, September 21st at 6 p.m. Those interested should RSVP by September 16th to klane@trcc.org or by calling 814-838-0424, as there is a limited number of seating available.

Where: Erie Club, 524 Peach Street, Erie, PA 16501

Why: This dinner will help make difficult conversations, such as death, a little easier as it symbolizes warmth and connection with friends and family while toasting to life—the goal of this national campaign.
