Effects on Fertility
Certain medications may have effects on your present and future fertility.
Talk with your hematologist/medical oncologist prior to starting chemotherapy.
- Certain medications may harm an unborn child.
- If you are sexually active and of child-bearing age, use an effective form of contraception during treatment.
- If you feel there is a chance you may be pregnant, let the medical oncologist know before receiving any medications.
- Women receiving certain medications may notice changes in their menstrual cycles.
