Please join us for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and walk to celebrate those who have battled against the disease, to remember loved ones lost, and to take action to help put an end to this fight forever. The event will be held at Jerry Uht Park on Saturday, June 25th from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Signups to participate in the walk are available at the front desk at The Regional Cancer Center.

The Center will be passing out water bottles, RCC stress-balls, and sunscreen for the day’s festivities, in addition to selling bracelets that represent various cancers to benefit the cause. RCC will also have an assortment of outdoor games and activities to participate in throughout the day.

Leading up to the day, the Center has planned an array of events to assist with raising additional funds for Relay for Life, including a Cocktails and Color fundraiser. Seats are still available for Thursday, June 9th to paint “Confetti” which will be taught by RCC’s own Dosimetrist, Linda Daugherty. This event will be hosted at the Cocktails & Color Studio in Millcreek Square from 6 to 8 p.m. Please register here.

Survivors are also welcome to attend a free luncheon held at 11:30 a.m. in the Beer Garden during Relay for Life. Those interested may sign up at the front desk at the RCC and will receive a free purple “Hope” t-shirt. Survivors are more than welcome to bring along a caregiver or guest to the lunch.
