  • McDowell Soccer Team Kicks Cancer

    The McDowell High School Girls Soccer Team dedicated its game against Mercyhurst Prep to The Regional Cancer Center. By selling t-shirts, soccer ball cutouts, and raffles the team raised over $4800. Team members visited the center and are shown with RCC Executive Director, John Girard and Director of Professional and Community Relations, Lisa Louis.

    “Our group felt strongly that our donations should help local breast cancer patients.” Susan said. “Proceeds from the event were up this year. Players envision their contributions providing a local patient in need with money for a wig or a gas card that helps them get to their treatments.”
