Annual Fund Drive

In 2011, The RCC held its first Annual Fund Drive. It was kicked off in conjunction with the Erie Community Foundation’s Erie Gives program on August 2, 2011. Board members, employees, former patients and community members were sent a letter or post card asking them to consider making a donation to The RCC.
This effort was most impressive with both major and grassroots gifts. One donor gave a $5,000 gift. Multiple employees paid $3 to wear jeans and/or purchase donated t-shirts for $10 for a collective total of $900 in initial employee donations.
The result of our Erie Gives efforts was $17,561 in donations from 129 donors. This is only the beginning as the Annual Fund Drive continues on through June 30, 2012.
An annual gift to The Regional Cancer Center benefits cancer patients right here in our community. As no patient is ever turned away because of their inability to pay, those patients with financial needs are served because of the generosity of our donors.
You, too, can provide hope to a cancer patient by making a tax deductible gift. No gift is ever too small to make a difference in someone’s life.
