Patient Profile: Mike Giannamore

I was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocyte Leukemia (CLL) in December 2004 after a concern by my primary physician of an elevated white count during an annual physical. Over the next six years I had regular appointments at RCC checking my white count and meeting with Dr. Symes. In January 2010 Dr. Symes consulted with me about beginning Chemo. I underwent treatments in January and February after which my white count dropped to normal levels and I remain in remission today; 2 plus years later. The entire staff at RCC treated me with exceptional care. That care continues today two years after my treatment as I have regular appointments monitoring my white count and meeting with the physician staff. Thank you and my gratitude to the staff at RCC.
